Westsidewill - Wild Off The Air

Wooooo, we had fun a few weeks ago when I wrote a blog with some of the great international videos that were out at this time, and boy was it fun.

The good news is that I’ve come off that international video kick and am going to focus on songs/videos out now that are neato in the US!

Let’s talk about it:

1) Lady GaGa feat Akon - Just dance

This is an OK song…and I had to post the original version (above) BUT the hot track is the one with Kardinal Offishall (below)

It’s a hot track…and I’m a Kardinal fan.

2) Britney Spears “Womanizer”

I don’t really need to say much…the video isn’t good, and is it just me or does she have the ol’ porn star “I’m here, doing whatever on video…but I don’t care” look in her eyes? (Not that I would know what that looks like…but I mean that’s what Dave was saying…)

3) Cassie ft. Lil’ Wayne “Official Girl”

It has been rumored that Cassie can’t really sing without the Auto Tune…It has also been rumored that I think she’s hot and don’t really care if she can sing (I wouldn’t buy the album anyway…she isn’t popular for her powerful vocals). Anywhooo, I’m just saying, mainstream music isn’t always about talent…Truth time…I don’t really care for this song at all, I just think Cassie is good looking…I’m a shallow blogger, but a deep person!

4) Morningwood “Sugarbaby”

It’s a video…about a puppet. I don’t like puppets, but I don’t not like puppets, I’m a fan of puppets in a music video…

5) Mr. Oizo “Flat Beat”

Because I love puppets in videos…

The Nooge

I could spend today talking about the great swimming events that have already happened on NBC, but I choose to go another direction. Yes, I’m talking about the former East German “woman” Olympian who had a sex change operation because of the steroids she was fed.

Yeah…Nothing should get the women clean like that story. You have a gold medal, but guess what? Now you have a penis. I believe we call that a side effect…or…something like that.

Anywhoo, the US is currently doing really well in swimming, even grabbing medals in events we aren’t really sure we should be in. Great job out there.

Tomorrow night is the Women’s Gymnastics gold medal round. The US vs. China. Read my blog yesterday and you can see why I think China is cheating, and why the US has a super hot chick on their team. Here is a fun fact that I didn’t know, 20 almost 21 is considered really Old for the Olympics. No one tell Dave that his dream of being a woman gymnast is now officially crazy!

Let’s talk bad T.V. shows! Or just one bad T.V. show, I’m pretty easy with my television show reviews, but not today.

G4 T.V. has a new show called Hurl! Here is the idea, 3 contestants eat as much as they can, and do crazy ass “stunts” or games that are designed to make them throw up! At first I know exactly what you are thinking, a show this great can’t be bad…sadly that isn’t the case.

This is a terrible show, I think because people generally don’t care to watch others puke with bad play by play guys talking all sorts of jibber jabber in the background. Yeah I’m surprised as you are, G4TV dropping the ball on a show? No way.

Here is some fun for you today! (This is why you leave some jobs to professionals…G4 looking in your direction!!!! I kid, G4 has some great shows…)
